Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

We can do even more with PEEK … in Additive Manufacturing, we can use your ideas, which you have already implemented theoretically with 3D CAD programs, to deliver component samples made of PEEK within a few days – and all this without any tooling costs! Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is a new process for producing spatial structures by sintering from the powdery starting material PEEK. It is a generative layering process: the workpiece is built up layer by layer. As a result of the action of the laser beams, arbitrary three-dimensional geometry can also be produced with undercuts, for e.g. Workpieces that can not be produced in conventional mechanical or casting production. This happens fully automatically and takes only a few hours, depending on the geometry and size of the parts. The control technology base for the lasers is generated from 3D CAD data. The preparation of tools is therefore eliminated.

Your advantages

  • no tooling costs
  • short production time
  • comparatively low unit prices
  • constructive simplification
  • Testable and functional products in small quantities
  • formal and functional variants possible
  • Production of replacement and replacement parts no longer in stock but only when needed
  • indefinite post-delivery readiness
  • no tool management
